Acupressure points for Charley horse cramps

Apply deep, probing pressure with fingertip, knuckle or soft-pointed object, such as a pencil eraser.

Acupoint 4: Bl60

In the depression just behind the outer anklebone

TCM: Bladder 60

Charley horese cramps are usually the result of excercise or hard work, especially in hot conditions. Harmless, but painful, they usually strike in the leg or legs with painful cramping. Massage can help, as can stretches and taking water. In addition to this acupressure point, you may want to also try points for cramps, the leg, ankle, or wherever they occur on the body.

If you have not found relief, try the same points on the opposite side of the body, or go back and try a related or similar symptom or body area. If you have not used acupressure before, please see the Instructions, then click the "Body Area" or "A-Z" tab and repeat.
